Color Rendering Index
Color rendering index or Ra index, is measured with a value from 0 to 100, where 100 correspond to perfect daylight. The closer to this value is to a light source the better the color reproduction. The problem for LEDs has been that color reproduction has changed over time. Already after a few 1000 hours you see clear changes. This problem is usually experienced on light sources with lower Ra values ranging from 40 to 70. Therefore it is important that when selecting a light source make sure that the LED has a high Ra value between Ra 80-100. Designlights LED lamps usually have between 40,000 and 50,000 hours of service life, and a Ra value at 80-96. We guarantee full color rendering until the end of the lightsource life.
